‘Very Highly Recommended’ and 91 points California Grapevine: “Medium-light to medium ruby; fragrant, deep, ripe, earthy, strawberry and cherry fruit aroma with hints of wild flowers, tea leaf. and cocoa; medium to medium-full body; rich, elegant, silky, earthy, red fruit flavors with good acid balance, a hint of cinnamon, and some plushness in the mouthfeel; medium to medium-full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Very enjoyable now, though best to bottle age for several more years. 14.7% alcohol; 1,510 cases; released February 2021. (Apr 2021)”

Producer notes: “Scents of lifted caramel and cream drift seamlessly through a core of cherry, berry, and warm leather. As the fruit expands into ripe melon and hints of plum on the palate, elements of forest floor and spice build into perfumed rose and tobacco leaf on the finish.”
