95-97 points Jeb Dunnuck: “The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon RBS displays a more elegant, seamless style, offering full-bodied aromas and flavors of cassis and black raspberries as well tobacco, violets, and Christmas spice. It’s incredibly complex and layered yet lacks a touch of the ”wow” factor found in the other cuvées. Don’t kid yourself, though – this is still a great wine, and I suspect the rating will seem low once this is bottled. (1/27/21)”

Driven, with a graphite underpinning providing a spine that stays in the background as the fruit stretches out. Approachable already but no rush at all. Drink now through 2038. (7/20/22)”
