A strong contender to knock that bottle of sloe gin off the shelf, this gin is flavored with roselle, a flowering plant in the hibiscus family. Look for an amber hue and an aroma that mixes cherry compote and oak. The distinctly sweet palate shows lots of dried cherry and tart rhubarb, a rootsy sarsaparilla note and hint of cacao, finishing with a minty exhale.
