Matured in oloroso, PX, and red wine casks, this whisky’s nose is rich and luxuriant with mixed peels, raisin, Christmas pudding, fig roll, fine spices, and notable high-alcohol strength. The casks work their magic, producing a palate of baked orange, dates, currants, strawberry, light toffee, clove, and pepper, drifting off dreamily into a land of lemon curd, creamy fudge, and melting white chocolate. – Summer 2023
