Due to low yields, the 2021 Riesling Scharzhofberger Grosses Gewächs contains the fruit of the Pergentsknopp parcel, which usually is made separately. Amalfi lemon, white blossom and subtle, juicy white peach flesh are just a tender tease on the nose. The palate, likewise, is like a caress. There is a lemony breeze, yet the undeniable steeliness lying underneath. Beautiful and immensely salty, stony depth makes the mouth water, alongside vivid lemony zestiness. So serene, so elegant, so unique. The finish is endless. Supreme. 8.3g/L of acidity and 6.5g/L of residual sugar. (Bone-dry)

Riesling
