Wade Cellars Three by Wade Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2018

The grapes in this bottling come entirely from the Napa Valley AVA, with roughly half from the eastern hills of Oakville and the other from the heart and soul of Napa, Rutherford. After the fruit was selected and harvested the wine was aged for 20 months in French oak, of which 75% was new. Aromatically the wine has notes of plums, blackberries, and sweet currants as well as chalky graphite. On the palate the wine dances along the line between being medium and full-bodied, with classic fruit flavors and a lingering tannic grip laced with tobacco leaves.
