Description
91 points Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): “From at least 15-year-old vines partly from top vineyards and vinified in stainless steel until March of this year, the 2020 Iphöfer Silvaner trocken opens with a ripe and intensely aromatic, characterful and Keuper-driven bouquet. On the palate, this is a fine and elegant, stimulatingly salty and persistently mineral Sylvaner with structure, very good length and terroir expression. Excellent quality for a moderate price. 12.5% alcohol. Screw cap. Tasted in October 2021. Drink: 2021-2033. (Dec 2021)”
90 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): “Although this is a rather sleek and crisp dry white, it smells almost like a pina colada! With aeration this becomes ever more juicy. Just a touch of tannin at the solid finish. From organically grown grapes with Fair’n Green certification. Drink now. Screw cap. (9/23/21)”
